				<p>The Contemporary Arts course is designed to allow students to explore their creative ideas within a framework of dialogue 
				between art theory and practice across the boundaries of traditionally separate academic disciplines. The course is intended 
				for students who wish to progress onto higher education and it provides an excellent opportunity to prepare a substantial portfolio 
				while developing a blend of practical and academic skills. It is expected that students should have a significant interest in the 
				new digital media.</p>

				<p>The HND Art and Design programme allows participants to study a variety of different aspects of creative arts, including 
				portrait and figure studies, painting techniques, jewellery design, sculpture, graphic design and mixed media. During the 
				programme, students will develop a substantial portfolio and undertake a work placement to help prepare them for 
				employment or progression onto higher education.</p>
