OpenMentor

Developed by: The Open University

OpenMentor consists of several components – In effect, the system consists of two major parts – (a) a learning system, that acquires feedback rules through a training set, and (b) a web interface that uses these rules to provide feedback to teachers.

The OpenMentor system will be available as a toolkit which can either be a standalone service or be part of a larger service oriented architecture such as the e-learning framework. It will specifically make use the Rating/Annotation service within ELF to gather information on the level and quality of tutorial support.
