d+ project
The D+ project (aka Discovery Plus) is an implementation of the Search and Retrieve Webservices (SRW) and Search and Retrieve URL (SRU) protocols for searching of bibliographic repositories. D+ is capable of providing a unified query interface to a set of external repositories by translating an SRU/SRW query into the native language of the target repository. Example targets include the Google API and Z39.50 library searches. The software can return the results in a range of forms including SRU, Learning Object Metadata (LOM) and IMS Content Packaging and Resource Lists Specifications.
